Terms of Service
Who you're contracting with
Get Heard is provided by Get Heard Inc ("we", "us"). By using Get Heard you are entering into an agreement with Get Heard Inc.
Acceptance
By continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using it.
What the service is
Get Heard is a practice and communication tool. You rehearse medical appointments with fictional AI doctor characters and receive communication coaching. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose or treat any condition. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Eligibility and your account
You must be of legal age in your country to use the service. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Please keep your account information accurate.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with its security (including malware, probing, scraping or circumventing usage limits).
You must not use the AI features to create illegal content, hate speech, harassment, impersonation or deepfakes, malware, or to try to bypass safety rules ("jailbreaking").
AI output
AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for what you type, how you use the output, and checking it before relying on it. Output is not suitable as professional medical, legal or other regulated advice.
You keep rights to what you type. You may use the coaching output for your own personal purposes. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate. Repeated infringement may lead to account termination.
We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts to keep the service safe.
Your health information
You may enter your own symptoms and upload your own medical records to prepare for an appointment. Only upload documents you have the right to share. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide, and you can delete your records at any time.
Our intellectual property
Get Heard Inc owns the service, its software, content, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your personal use within the pass you bought. Don't copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer it.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Passes are one-time purchases that run for 7 days from when you activate them.
Service level
We work hard to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, you can ask us to delete your data.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data). Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law doesn't allow it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and disputes will be handled by its courts.
